“…I don’t mind what people call me… It’s my fault for forgetting my name… But, then again, monsters don’t deserve names in the first place…” The monster replied. She never really cared what people called her, but when they gave her an actual name, she found she could trust them more than if they just called her monster. For some reason giving something a name was an attachment, because no one any longer had an attachment to her, she guesses she just forgot it.
"You are not a monster, miss!” Roro huffed, placing his hands firmly at his hips as he puffed his cheeks up in childish defiance. He knew low self-esteem existed, oh he knew that very well himself, but he did not like to see others suffering or merely calling themselves names. “Let’s give you a pretty name like Alina or Clarissa or Claudette.” He smiled, “Can you think of any names you would like to have? I want to give you a name you’d like, not just a name I like. How you feel about this matters too!”
Don’t mind her chuckling, no, nothing sinister about that. It was so pleasing whenever people addressed her as she had requested; if they didn’t, it was such a pain forcing them to. Thoughts aside, that smile of hers remained on her lips, unwavering, as she nodded in response to his own name. It certainly was an odd name, not that she had much room to talk what with her own, but it seemed to fit him, she supposed.
“It is a pleasure to meet you also, Roro-san. Mm, I do hope that we can get along in the future. It would be such a shame if we didn’t, don’t you agree?” Ah, and there she was, already beginning to intimidate the other. It didn’t take much effort - a gentle smile that contrasted her bold words, and not to mention, her mysterious aura. Not that she was planning on hurting the other, unless the circumstances called for it, but she felt he should know that she was not one to mess with.
Her chuckling made him shudder with fear for a brief moment, his blue hues avoiding her crimson ones. Goodness, her laugh was quite the frightening kind. She should work on that! Not that he’d voice the thought. He knew better. Plus, he liked living.
"Right…!" Roro stammered, nodding his head at quite a fast pace and perhaps too much but, alas, he was too terrified to think that was the case and he should stop.
"I-I hope we get along!" But, he wouldn’t turn a new friend down. Maybe she was just scary at first but got nicer as time went along? He hoped so.
Luka listened intently, gently nodding her head at the other pinkette when she agreed with him, safe to say, that was a lot of the time. For once, she wasn’t worried whether she looked like a nodding dog - she was completely enthralled by his words. In her mind, she was right; he was wise, very much so. What she had managed to gleam from his words, was that his outlook on life seemed a million worlds away from hers, and how strange that was that they were so unique.
His words were almost like a song, somewhat poetic, and resonated within her - ‘never forget who you are,’ what advice that was. If she knew who she was, she’d always treasure that, but the singer was forever being installed with new updates and software which would change her personality in ways that she couldn’t anticipate, but most of the time they generally just warped her mood, so she’d live life in melodrama for a few hours, before she was back to her new normal temperament. There was definitely more to him than met the eye, and she wanted to be able to know what it was. He seemed more mature than some of her friends, and as the first Vocaloid created almost solely for the purpose of being mature, she could empathize.
Of course, she chuckled at the nickname ‘Gaku-Gaku’, as that was new to her, but for the rest of it the maintained her cool and calm composure, even if she was wondering just why he was being so cryptic about Mizki, but she assumed that if he wanted to talk to her about it in more detail, then he would of his own accord.
“I suppose it was,” she let herself repeat his words, “Only natural, but now it does seem a little… hollow. I don’t know what this fame will bring me, and sometimes I fear it. Life did seem so much better when I was allowed to pretend to be a normal girl, but now…” she sighed, “It doesn’t matter, I’m being ungrateful for what I have,” she sighed and attempted a weak smile.
She knew it was rude to continue to go on and on about her personal life, but she wasn’t too worried at the moment.
“Well, thank you, it’s lovely to speak to you.” she knew it was a crappy way to end her little monologue, but she felt that something was needed to put an end to her incessant babbling.
“So you know Gakupo too?” she asked, tilting her head and putting on a sweet smile. The purple haired Vocaloid was a close friend of hers, how come she’d not heard more of this interesting pinkette?
VY2 had to bite back a laugh. He’d never seen someone so interested in what he had to say! Usually people brushed him off. Well, that wasn’t surprising, in all actuality, if he counted how he acted around friends. Like Gakupo and Rinto! Around such people he’d be a silly, almost stupid-sounding little idiot. He just needed to feel secure and comfortable around those he acted in such a way around. For if he wasn’t, people truly came to believe he was that stupid.
"But isn’t everyone ungrateful? We all want, we are never content with what we have currently. Yet, that’s what makes people so interesting. That’s how we achieve greater things. So there’s no shame at all in wanting more, wanting better for ourselves. It’s shameful and ungrateful when you don’t know what you have. Isn’t that funny?" He chuckled, smiling faintly; the expression barely noticeable but there, very much so.
"Ahhh, Gaku? Yes, I know him." His blue eyes widened, an almost childlike expression taking place on his features; quite the change as he had looked so formal and refined throughout the entire conversation up until now. "He’s my best friend. I love him a lot." Gakupo was VY2’s very best friend and most important person! He was always there for him, likewise as VY2 was always there for him too. The purplette had been a past lover of his before his system had been wiped. He still had not remembered his memories prior to the system restart, however. How painful for Gakupo, that was. For he had to watch the pinkette run off and be with others.
And yet, that was more learning experiences! Learning! How VY2 loved it. “I take it since you asked, you know Gaku? Oh! Wait, wait!” He gasped, his hands flying up to his lips. “We may be speaking of different Gakupo’s! My Gaku-Gaku is regal and kind and mature. He’s like a father to everyone and he’s mysterious! My Gaku-Gaku is my owner!” A Vocaloid owning another was odd, but still. That was how it was. “I’m his kitten. His pink furball!” He beamed cheerfully; clearly ecstatic to be speaking of the Vocaloid.
